According to EPA, the average American household generates 15 pounds of HHW annually. Our homes contain an average of three to eight gallons of hazardous materials in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and basements. And indoor air contamination from household cleaners and other products is a growing concern. Below are some links to information on this issue.
